Are you equipped
- There are two kinds of people in this world. Sinners who have been forgiven and Sinners that have not.
- You either believe what the bible says, or you don’t.
- God made clear in His Word how to be saved.
- Jesus died as a substitute for us, even while we were sinners.
Verses to remember:
- Romans 6:23 – The wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.
- John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his only one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
- John 3:17 – God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
- 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 – Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you will become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight
- John 14:6 – I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
- Romans 5-5 – And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
- Acts 4-12 – Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under the heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
This was said by the Sanhedrin to Peter and the other Apostles over 2000 years ago.
Acts 5:38-39 – “Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origins, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.“
Now read the above passage again and really think about what it is saying.
2000 years later and Christianity is world wide.
